Jordan Hurst has been writing recording music since he was a teenager. His songs tend to be heartfelt and meaningful, drawing influence from his life and the world around him whilst he studied at university. He finds inspiration from both modern and classic country artists, having first becoming obsessed with the genre after hearing LeAnn Rimes’ version of ‘How Do I Live’ in 1998 at the age of just 6 years old.
It was whilst at university that he developed his talent for music, learning to play the guitar and performing around the city of Lancaster. The highlight of this was singing at a youth festival, Larks in The Park., in both 2012 and 2013.
Jordan hopes, after recording his first album, Country In My Soul, that he can start to perform again around the North West. The lead song, One Last Try, is a song that he first recorded on a visit to Nashville in 2013.
